CLUB INFO
The club staffs that run this club are Brian. Shepardson, Richard. Sanders and Dan Lane. all of the staff have great outdoor experience. the clubs runs throughly the months of September, October, November, December, Late March,April, May, June .The fall is when most of the trips took place. A trip will take place on a Saturday or a Sunday once or twice during one of those months.

Weather and Cancelations-
The Outing Club will take place in all kinds of weather that includes rain, snow, That being said all Students should come prepared for all types of weather conditions. The Only reason we would ever cancel a trip is if conditions are not safe for students such as Thunder storms and Heavy Downpour Rain Storms. If a trip cancelation happens, it will be posted on our home page 1 Hour before the trip takes place.
Club Rules and Expectations-
All Students are required to adhere to all club rules the club staff implement.
1. Students are not allowed to use cell phones for texting or being on any social media during any trip. Students will only be permitted to use their phones for calling for a ride home or taking photos.
2. Because all hiking trails that we do can be very narrow or steep students are asked to remain behind a staff member at all times and remain walking, running is not allowed.
3. Some trips we do allow dogs on, with that being said all students are required to have their dogs leashed at all times. All dogs must be friendly and get along with all other dogs, students and staff.
4. During Canoe Kayaking Trips all students are required to wear life vests. all Students also must remain a paddle length away from each other and behind a club staff member. Also students should dress warm as we do our canoe and kayak trips in October. Life vest will be provided for those that need one but if you have a life vest we ask that you please bring it with you.
5. During Biking Trips all students are required to wear helmets, if you do not have a helmet please let Mr. Shepardson know and a helmet can be provided for a student.
6. We ask that all students please arrive 10 minutes before the trips starts so we can go over the rules and expectations.
7. No Flip Flops or Sandals should ever be worn as our trips are not suitable for them.
Things To Bring On Trips
Because our trips take place in all kinds of weather conditions, we want to make sure that you are prepared. So how do you know you are prepared for our trips? Please have the fallowing that is listed below.
1. Wear Good Hiking Shoes.
2. Bring a Bottle of Water and Snack
3. Bug Spray for the early Spring and early fall trips, some of our destinations produce lots of bugs.
4. Wear clothing that dries fast.
5. Rain Coats for days that rain or could rain during the trip.
